Gerard B. Schneller grew up in St. Louis and graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Law. He later served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois from 1991 to 1995.
Since 1995, Gerry has devoted his practice to injured workers and personal injury victims, handling cases in more than 20 states. That experience now anchors Schneller Law Group's founder-led approach to serious injury litigation.

What is FELA, and how is it different from workers' comp?
The Federal Employers' Liability Act has protected railroad workers since 1908. Unlike workers' compensation, FELA requires showing the railroad's negligence played a part — even a small part — in your injury. In exchange, it allows recovery of full damages: lost wages, future earnings, medical costs, and pain and suffering. The railroad's claims agents know this. That's why they show up fast after an injury.
